Stuart Pressman originated Sole-lutions Footwear and has been making custom orthotic arch supports and selling footwear since 1992. Originally started as Pressman Orthotics in the back of a pharmacy and medical supply store, it quickly outgrew its location. In 2001 Sole-lutions Footwear moved to a larger retail location. Sole-lutions now boasts over 20 brand names and stocks thousands of shoes, sneakers, and sandals. “If we don’t have a style or size you are specifically looking for, we can order it for you."
Sole-lutions has an onsite custom orthotic arch support laboratory. It actually makes your insoles and arch supports in house. Other health care professionals typically send their foot casts to a central mass manufacturing lab. The staff members working at Sole-lutions Footwear are individually trained by Stuart Pressman. As a Licensed Certified Orthotist and Pedorthist, Stuart sees to it that his employees meet the stringent requirement set forth by his commitment to provide the best and most knowledgeable service possible.
Sole-lutions works with and fills prescriptions by many orthopedists, internists, podiatrists, MD's, and DO's as well as physical therapists.
If you are interested or involved in any kind of activity from walking to running to physical fitness; if you have a foot deformity; or if you are diabetic and have neuropathy, Sole-lutions will help you select the proper fit of footwear. No guessing is required. The staff at Sole-lutions will always measure your shoe size and arch length, and examine your foot type to match you to the right style and fit of shoe for your specific needs.
Sole-lutions fills your prescription for diabetic footwear. Medicare covers certain shoes and insoles under the Therapeutic Shoe Program at little or no cost to you. Sole-lutions has the largest selection of diabetic footwear in Broward County. Unfortunately, HMO’s are not currently covering diabetic footwear through Sole-lutions. However, its selection includes diabetic socks, creams and lotions, shoes, sneakers, and more. Please call or come in for questions on how to get your shoes covered by Medicare.
